Getting Back to Blogging!

I LOVE the age 2 1/2! Sawyer is a blast! He has so much energy and learns new words daily. All of his energy also makes this stage kind of challenging with an infant :) The other day he sincerely and excitedly looked at me and said, "I av idea!" I asked him what it was and he said, "Gween!"

Sawyer is an early riser. He says to me in the mornings, "Lessgo, Mommy. Lessgo." and hands me my glasses. It's not like I'm sleeping in at 6:50am!

When I hold Brody, Tote puts his head right next to Brody's and says "Two babies! Awww, tute!"

Max and Sawyer are both really into the Smurf's right now. My parents took them to the movies and they loved it! They have several of the McDonald's toys (which, I love too! Reminds me of my grandpa who colleced some McD's Happy Meal toys :)) We DVR'd some of the old school Smurf' cartoons and the boys are enjoying watching them.

Lukas took Max to my high school's football game last night. They had a lot of fun together. When they got home Max ran to Brody and said, "Awww, I missed my baby brother. I want him to sleep with me because I missed him so much." When I told him that wasn't happening, he kissed him and said, "I'll see you in the morning, Brody." I really am SO thankful that the boys are great with Brody. Imagine if they weren't! Oh my!

Max has been counting down to his 4th birthday since before he was 3 1/2. Today is Lukas' birthday and Max knows his is next. But he thinks it's tomorrow! Haha! I've been planning for Max to start piano lessons when he is 4. I was really disappointed to discover that it's hard to find a teacher that will teach 4 year olds. Still looking but it's not going to be as easy as I thought.

Brody continues to be a good little baby. Getting up only once or none during the night to eat. He still sleeps a lot of the day. Can't believe he is almost 2 months old! He resembles Max a lot, I think. Every one of his smiles just warms my heart.

Now I must get ready to shop for Lukas' birthday. It's his last year in the 20's!
