Who says boys can't play babies?

Mickey Mouse has been getting quite a bit of attention around here lately. Max has a stuffed Mickey that he and Sawyer have been playing "baby" with. Yesterday they rocked him, put him in a crib (a.k.a. their shoe bin), and showed him some TLC (not the 90's singing sensations). Before bed it was reading time. I found Max and Sawyer sitting by the makeshift crib reading to Mickey. This went on for about 20 minutes and then it was time for bed. Sawyer said, "Wait! I gonna kiss him and tell him a Incredible Hulk story." Sooooo funny. Sawyer leaned into the crib and kissed Mickey, then told a very action-packed story. There was lots of jumping involved.

Today Baby Mickey continued to be THE toy. Max put a diaper on him, got him dressed in a sleep sack, had 2 bibs for him (one for eating, one for spitting up of course!), and swaddled him. It really was very sweet. Sawyer has a stuffed Winnie the Pooh that he started babying. Although I think Sawyer ended up doing stunts with his swaddled Pooh. :) All in all they played babies for hours today! Not their usual football and cars games. It was fun to watch!
